Kathleen Chandler

Last Updated:    July 30, 2010

Residing In:    huntington beach, CA USA

Occupation:    Hospice Nurse

Children:    I have 2 sons 33 and 29....Both work in the creative/artistic/musical side of their brains. Older son is engaged and younger son lives in New Orleans with his better half, she is his rock and love. I am very proud of Mike and Brian....

Birthday:    July 1, 1953

Comments:    I am happily single and love living near the beach, about half a mile. Growing old gracefully but not feeling older, have kept a young attitude and I think that has to do with my sons, being a single mom and parenting lots of my sons friends. Since being divorced, I got my nursing license and that has been the best career decision ever, working from my heart and able to be myself. I am a Hospice Nurse and have been for the last 7 years. I love to swim, walk, read a good book, see a good movie and travel...and surviving this economic downturn...yes even in Nursing we have been affected in California. But I am happy and feel very centered, spiritually and emotionally. Both my parents are still living and I am greatful for that, greatful for good health.

School Story:    Well I went to Holy Family for 8 years so I didn't get into SPJHS untill 9th grade. I met alot of great friends and am very greatful that our class of 1971 has remained so close all these years. Touching base with alot of them on Facebook. I so look forward to seeing you all next year for our 40th class reunion, wow...My story in High School was, I was a shy girl, had a close group of friends, tried out for the drill team, didn't make it. I worked as Advertising Editor for our famous newspaper The Tiger for 2 years, remember Mr Holmes. The other teacher is Mr Goto, remember the question "Why I? and the answer is "because." Went to all the football games all 3 years, we had awesome teams those 3 years, most of the dances and some basketball games. To this day I love all types of Sports. I loved when my cousin Lisa P got elected as a Homecoming Princess. I am glad our High School graduating class was on the small side, I think that is why were remained close after all these years...thanks for the memories.

One of my funny memories at SPHS, we had an assembly and I was hypmotized along with a few other classmates in front of the whole school. I remember Vinny Richards stretching across 2 chairs and some one was able to stand on him or sit on him and he had no reaction. I remember doing the things the Hypnotist told us to do, I remember doing them but I alsoo remember I could not stop doing them either..that was a fun memory for me.
