Just to hear his name gives me a smile, even at a time like this. Russ in my memory had a heart of gold and one of those sneak-up-on-you smiles. And to him a friend was a friend forever. I’m glad his pain is gone, sad that so many of us are grieving and happy that we have our memories of him. Hugs to Sally and all his family and friends. And
to the brother I used to call *Kingfish.* He used to call me *Gee-ven*....back in the day.

Russel was my first crush at Lincoln School Elementary...he was always sweet and kind to me and had a very low voice even back then!
Healing thoughts go out to Sally and family...Bless him on his journey. XO

Sally, my heart goes out to you and your family.
What a great loss! He will always remain in my memory as the charming, compassionate, friendly, and caring man that he was. He was lovely.
