Jan's brother, Jerry, posted this notice Aug. 30 on the South Pasadena High School Alumni Association Facebook page:  For the sake of those SPHS alumni whom I am not in touch with, I must sadly report the death of my brother, Jan McSilvers (age 72 yrs) --a 1971 SPHS graduate. He died on August 13th, 2025, in a motorcycle accident in the Oregon Cascade Mountains while on his way, with friends, to Sisters, Oregon. Jan had lived in Springfield, Oregon, since 1993.
